Computer and Internet Facilities

Halton Lea Library has excellent computer facilities with 43 PCs.

IT Suite

We have a purpose built IT Suite with 10 PCs that can be used for study purposes, job searches and training.

Community Meeting Room

The meeting room is equipped with 10 laptops and an interactive whiteboard projector.

General Use

  • 18 PCs are on the top floor available for general use.
  • 2 PCs for local studies / family history
  • 2 PCs for general information and reference CD-ROMs
  • Scanner

Specific Needs

Halton Lea Library computers are are loaded with assistive technology software "Jaws" and "Zoomtext" that enable partially sighted and blind people to access our facilities.
