Organisations - Get Checked Campaign Halton

Local Community Health Support Volunteers

Do you want to get involved in helping your local community?

The Halton Get Checked Campaign works with volunteers recruited by Halton and St Helens Primary Care Trust (PCT) to help promote our important cancer awareness message that early detection saves lives. By getting out into the local communities, the Get Checked team encourages people to visit their GP with any unusual symptoms.

As part of the PCTs Health Improvement Programme, the team can often be seen out and about in the Halton, Runcorn and Widnes community, chatting to local residents, taking part in events and handing out information.

If you have a few spare hours each week and would like to be involved in helping your community, please contact us or call Kerry Grimes / Sue Davies on 0151 495 5496.
